This was the reverse side of the "khorjin" seen in 4351-1.It was used for storing special possessions while on migration or in the black tent. It is a very beautiful weaving that brings a memory of folk art with it.

From a fragment of a Qashqai carpet. The Qashqai are semi nomadic; vivid groups in the Zagros mountains who weave beautiful carpets. They resisted settlement during the next to last Shah's attempt to stop tribal peoples' migrations.
