www.ICOC-orientalrugs.org Meets every three years in an internaiontal city. The most recent International Conference on Oriental Rugs was held (the 11 th ) in Istanbul, Turkey. April 19-22,2007.

www.acor-rugs.org (American Conference on Oriental Rugs) Meets everu two years in an American city. Most recent (ACOR 8) conference was held in Boston, Mass April 20-25, 2006. Among rug societies participating were Textile Museum Assoc, Southern California, New England Rug Society, Hajji Baba Club (www.hajjibaba.org) . The 9th conference to meet in St. Louis was postponed to a future year..
